AC Schnitzer unveils the ACL2 – based on the BMW 2 Series Coupe. The ACL2 will make its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. It will output 570 hp power output from the car’s heavily-modified engine. Based on the photo of the car’s engine bay, it appears AC Schnitzer has managed to fit the S55 3.0 liter engine
from the M3/M4 models. Even the carbon fiber engine brace is included. The tuner promises a power to weight ratio of 2.54 hp/kg.
The exterior and interior also get heavily upgraded. Fitted with track-inspired accessories and a widebody aerodynamic kit, the ACL2 takes the 2 Series looks to a whole new level. At the front, the ACL2 gets a redesigned bumper and larger air intakes. Side sills, wheel arches and a large fixed rear wing are some just some of the rest of the visual upgrades.
Two-tone five twin-spoke alloy wheels are also specifically designed for this model.
Inside we can find the typical AC Schnitzer badging, and also a set of new pedals, sports seats, gear knob, handbrake grip, and carbon fiber trim. Even the steering wheel gets upgraded.
