The prices of new vehicles in the Australian market can be surprisingly high, especially the premium vehicles. BMW is also included in the group, of course, so if you’re looking for a new one, you may want to make sure you’re ready to invest that serious money. The pricing and allocation for the BMW X5 M and X6 M First Edition versions have recently been announced.
In Australia, the two limited-run First Edition versions will become very rare. BMW reported that only 250 units of each would be manufactured globally. But only four BMW X5 M First Edition and four BMW X6 M First Edition models will be produced out of that batch. That’s not anything, though.
These prices will start at AU$264,900 (US$199,495) and AU$273,900 (US$206,272), respectively. These prices are more than the Audi R8 V10 Performance, the Porsche 911 GT3 and even the ALPINA B5 Touring at current exchange rates, which is quicker than both M SUVs and just as practical.
You will have to put in an AUD5,000 deposit if you are interested in one and want to reserve a construction slot. Then head to your favorite dealer to start configuring your vehicle.
Features
The X5 M will be dressed in Frozen Marina Bay Blue. While the X6 M is finished in Frozen Dark Silver. And for sure, they will have a unique combination of features. The exterior will have carbon fiber parts, just like the mirror covers. While on the inside, you will get a bi-tone Silverstone/Night Blue Merino leather upholstery.
With the statement that it’s a ‘First Edition 1/250’ on it, all cars get a carbon-fiber trim inside. It features a panoramic glass roof, rear roller sun blinds, heated front and rear seats. It also has a ventilated front seat, BMW Drive Recorder, and others provided as standard equipment. Deliveries will start in the first quarter of 2021 for these special models, although no official date has yet been given.
