The only 4 series left to be launched is the four-door model—the 4 Gran Coupe Series. The previous-gen car’s supporters will be happy to know that a successor based on the new G22 4 Series is coming. Making the new one more efficient, more luxurious, and more pleasant to drive.
It will also come with an M Performance variant to fit its two-door sibling, the BMW M440i Gran Coupe. From these images, we can clearly see that this four series Gran Coupe is the version M440i because of its trapezoidal exhaust and aggressive wheels.
There is also a slight lip spoiler in the front air vent camouflage, hinting that it will appear aggressive than the regular 4 Series Gran Coupe. And it’ll have a huge new kidney grille, of course.
As the BMW M440i Gran Coup sets to launch, it will gain the same engine as the M440i Coupe. It will come with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine that generates 382hp and 369 lb-ft. It will be mated with an eight-speed automatic gearbox transmission and all-wheel-drive. And it is expected to be a bit quicker than the M440i Coupe, a speedy car.
The difference between this upcoming variant with its siblings is its practicality. It features a decent back seat, extra two doors, and a convenient liftback tailgate. It’s still not sure if it will have the same tailgate as its predecessor, but that’s what we hope for. If it does, it would add up to its practicality while also offering that small GT car experience.
