V10 ends Production together with the BMW M6

Following the announcement that the BMW M6 production has come to an end, BMW has also confirmed that the V10 naturally aspirated powerplant will retire as well.

The V10 naturally aspirated powerplant makes the M6 capable of  top speed of 209 mph (336 km/h). An electronic limiter can limit the top speed to just 155 mph (250 km/h).

A new M6 is said to make its debut in 2013. The next generation BMW 6 Series will be revealed at the September Paris Motor Show.
