Video – BMW 1 Series M Coupe on the Track

Here is a video taken last July 6 of the BMW 1 Series Coupe Prototype on Ascari Race Track, Spain. Sources say that this will most likely be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show early next year. The engine of the BMW 1 Series still remains a secret. But rumors say that it will be the same twin turbos used on in the 135i. With additional boost, the BMW 1 Series will most likely be capable of around 350hp. Automotive journalists who have seen and rode the prototypes say that the manual transmission suits this car very well. See how it performs on the track. Enjoy!
