The aggressive M-Sport package and ActiveHybrid 3, the first hybrid 3 Series, were also present at the U.S. launch of the new 3 Series at Monterey, California. The M-Sport package features 18-inch or 19-inch lightweight wheels as an option , special aerodynamics cues, front and rear bumpers, sill covers in body color and a striking diffuser insert in Dark Shadow Metallic on the tail, and chromium exhaust pipe finishers and M-tuned suspension which lowering the car by ten millimeters.
The BMW ActiveHybrid 3 will launch in the market on 2013 as the first hybrid version of the popular 3 Series model. The innovative hybrid system features a coasting mode (with the engine switched off) active at up to 160 km/h (100 mph).
