Video – BMW Art Car From 1975 to 2010

The BMW Art Car collection provides a link between the automotive world and art. This concept of merging cars and art together came to life when the American Alexander Calder painted the very first BMW racing art car back in 1975. Since then the BMW Art Cars continues as a tradition, and have been graced by a talented artists such as Frank Stella, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Ernst Fuchs, Ken Done, Michael Jagamara Nelson, Matazo Kayama, César Manrique, A.R. Penck, and Jeff Koons.
