Videos – BMW ConnectedDrive Showcased at the 2010 Paris Motor Show

BMW presented their new innovations within the ConnectedDrive platform at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. This includes a unique technology that allows for BlackBerry integration in the car. This allows for displaying emails and the text-to-speech function. BMW is still working on making this feature available for other mobile smart phones.

BMW also showcased the new Bluetooth interface technology specifically created for the Apple iOS 4 operating system. This allows iPhone 4 owners to integrate the phone with their BMW.

The iPod Out function that optimizes the operation of various Apple music players in the car was also demonstrated. BMW has also announced that a Wi-Fi network in the 7 Series is now available. This makes it possible for passengers to use iPads and laptops while on board a BMW vehicle.
