[Video] BMW M2 Competition with Michelin Cup 2 Connect Tires

The one most likely to see track duty of all the BMWs on sale is the BMW M2 Competition. Certainly, the cars like the M340i and M5 are fantastic but who would take these cars on a track day? Not too many. This is the BMW M2 competition which is going to see the track time. If you happen to own one BMW M2 Competition and you want to have fun with your car, then you certainly need a new set of right tires. Joe Achilles tests out Michelin Cup 2 Connect tires on his very own BMW M2 Competition on track in this video.

The Michelin Cup 2 tires are connected tires, just like all things in today’s world, they can connect to a smartphone app that provides you with a perspective of what they’re doing. With the Michelin app, you can have your smartphone installed somewhere in your vehicle. As it shows all the relevant details about your tires. For example, before heading out on track, the app told him that three of his tires required a little deflation. In addition to that, the app gave him an accurate tire temperature readout. This enabled him to know when they were up to enough temperature to drive them hard.

Like always, the BMW M2 Competition also looks like a brawl on track. Personally, I am quite jealous of Achilles. What is way better than being able to track your own BMW M2 Competition as he wishes.

This video clearly shows that tire technology can be highly beneficial for any enthusiast who wants to drive their BMW on a track day and get the most out of it.
