[Video] BMW X6 M Competition showing off its speed

It wasn’t so long ago, we assumed high-ride vehicles were nothing but trucks. The vehicle industry had a rough time adapting to cars like the Mercedes-Benz ML or the Lexus RX just over 20 years ago. Then came the first Coupe SUV and the world had never been the same. The moment conventional sports car makers started eyeballing this niche everything has changed. We’ve got monsters like the BMW X6 M Competition Rivalry “intimidating” innocent drivers on the motorway today on the Autobahn.

Honestly speaking, this is really the only place (not including the tracks) where cars like this can really stretch their legs and show what they can do. Naturally, these days not all Autobahn are still free of speed limits and their numbers are declining.

Anyhow, Germany somehow seems like the Mecca of high-speed fanatics, compared to every other nation on Earth. And it isn’t getting any better than this for the BMW X6 M Competition.

Even when you take it down the road, it is unlikely to find a straight line that is long enough to allow it to settle properly. The engineers definitely did a great job with the suspension that effectively keeping the weight –which I discovered as analyzing this beast –but in tight corners, you can still feel weight. However, as you can see in the video below, this is not a problem in the staright line.

The X6 M posts are amazing in numbers. According to the Dragy app, 0-100 km / h takes 3.74 seconds, but I strongly believe that the BMW X6 M Competition can do better than that. The 1/4 mile is finished in 11.65 seconds. While takes only 9.25 seconds to accelerate the 100-200 km /h. It perfectly demonstrates the mid-range pull of the car that’s just amazing.
