[Video] From a Regular Touring to a Legendary E46 M3

The E46 M3 is a legendary sports car that has captured the hearts of many car enthusiasts. It’s known for its sharp handling, powerful engine, and sleek design. However, one thing that the E46 M3 never had was a touring version. That’s where one BMW enthusiast decided to take matters into their own hands and create an E46 M3 Touring.

The project started with a regular E46 3-Series Touring stripped down to the chassis. The bodywork was then modified to fit the wider stance of the M3 and to accommodate the M3’s flared wheel arches. The rear doors were also modified to fit the wider rear wheel arches. Once the bodywork was complete, the car was painted in the iconic Imola Red.

Under the hood, the car received a full M3 drivetrain, including the S54 inline-six engine, six-speed manual transmission, and limited-slip differential. The suspension was also upgraded with M3 components to handle the added power and to improve the car’s handling.

The result is a stunning creation that combines the practicality of a touring car with the performance of the legendary E46 M3. This project is a testament to the passion and dedication of BMW enthusiasts and shows that anything is possible with creativity and hard work.
