BMW M3 running the ‘Ring
The new G80 BMW M3 and M4 have been circulating several photos, videos, and other teasers. Nevertheless, as we have seen a new spy video that shows the net-gen M3 doing some laps around the Nurburgring, it is not yet set. However, it also points out that the vehicle is stationary and very close so that you can see it properly. It’s covered in camouflage, of course, but better than nothing.
The BMW M3 hits the ‘Ring’ with this new video and gives it a few heat laps. We can see it’s an agile car with fast reflection and a speed-tracking capability. It also looks fast. We already knew that it would be quick and we also saw the M4 powered from a cockpit by a pro-BMW driver so we know it can handle angles. Fortunately, we hear the noise in this footage and it sounds fine. The S58 engine sounds like the perfect BMW inline-six and we are glad it’s back.
The G80 BMW M3 looks cool. The G80 BMW M3, apart from that grille, is going to be a really good looking car. I know, it’s a huge elephant in the room that distracts you entirely from seeing or hearing about the ride. I understand. But if you can see beyond the grid and see the whole, you can grasp what it is. You will also see how nice a car is going to be if you look far beyond grille.
Consider this; the BMW M3 is a 473-hour rear-wheel-drive sedan and six-speed manual at its slowest point. While this model is the slower enthusiast, higher performance models, such as the 503-hour all-wheel Drive M3 Competition will still be available at launch. All this has already proven to be fantastic, based on the latest version of BMW’s CLAR Architecture of the G20 3 Series.
