Videos – Head-Up Display in the new BMW 6 Series

BMW engineers have figured that it takes one second and 28 meters from the time you take your eyes off the road and read 100 km/h on the speedometer. This is definitely a distraction that needs to be overcome. As a solution, BMW equipped the new 6 Series with a full-color, high resolution, three dimensional Head-Up display — directly in the vision field of the driver. This is the first time a technology like this has been used in the high-end convertible segment.

The driver can easily see navigation directions, speed limits, lane departure warnings, and Night Vision alerts and check/control messages. Here is a series of videos that showcase the features of the new 6 Series and the 3D Head-Up Display.
