Vorsteiner full titanium exhaust system for BMW M3

It’s a bit out of the ordinary to cover individual tuning components here at WCF. However, after looking at these images sent by Vorsteiner we thought some of you would appreciate it given the complexities of welding titanium in an inert oxygen free environment.

We’ve already seen Vorsteiner’s CSL inspired BMW M3 kit and now, they have completed development of a full cat back 100% titanium exhaust system. The entire system weighs 38 lbs (16.8 kg) less than the stainless steel factory system at 55 lbs (25 kg). While allowing more efficient air flow and reducing back pressure, the system releases 14 HP and 13.23 lb/ft of torque. Here are the details:
