What Would Happen if BMW Crossed M2 and i8?

One look at the BMW M2 and the i8 doesn’t make you think how their hybrid will look like. It seems like they’re from different planets.

A magnificent piece of design and engineering, i8 looks so futuristic that it’s almost hard to believe it actually exists. Yet, there are some similarities between this amazing model and an M2.

With a closer look, you can see that the engines of the two models are very similar. They can both reach 100km/h in 4.5/4.4 seconds (the slight advantage goes to i8), and they have pretty close horsepower.

Khyzyl Saleem, an automotive design manipulator, had an idea to combine these two models and showed us his vision of the cross between an M2 and i8.

As you can see in the pictures, the M2-i8 ‘baby’ has a rear bumper of i8 and quad-tailpipes and wide hips of M2. The visual part presented on the rendering leaves plenty of room for imagining its specifications.
