BMW has introduced the exclusive and highly anticipated Skytop, a limited-edition roadster that has already captured the attention of car enthusiasts worldwide. Inspired by the brand’s history of creating iconic vehicles, this two-seater convertible is a masterclass in dynamic design, blending the elegance of past roadsters like the BMW Z8 with cutting-edge performance. Only 50 units of the BMW Skytop will be produced, making it a prized collectable for those fortunate enough to secure one.
First showcased as a concept at the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the Skytop’s sleek, timeless design and powerful performance left a lasting impression. Adrian van Hooydonk, head of BMW Group Design, revealed the production version at an event in Milan, where collectors quickly reserved all available units. This limited run of the Skytop continues BMW’s tradition of building exclusive models following the release of the celebrated BMW 3.0 CSL.
At the heart of the Skytop is a 4.4-litre V8 engine that delivers an impressive 625 hp, ensuring thrilling acceleration and remarkable driving dynamics. Combined with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, the Skytop promises unmatched stability and speed. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, offering a driving experience that matches its eye-catching appearance.
Beyond performance, the Skytop features a meticulously crafted design highlighting style and sophistication. From its illuminated kidney grille to its slim LED headlights, every detail of this car has been carefully curated to enhance its graceful look. Inside, luxury materials and precision craftsmanship create a refined, exclusive atmosphere, with features like the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System adding to its premium feel.
The BMW Skytop is more than just a car; it’s a statement of luxury and exclusivity designed for collectors who appreciate the finest automotive craftsmanship.
