Real Life Photos – BMW Concept C: Joy In The City

BMW unveiled their very first scooter concept at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan. The BMW Concept C scooter is under the Joy In The City slogan, which brings to life BMW’s commitment to sustainable mobility. This concept is expected to be launched by the BMW Motorrad division in the future, through two premium models using internal combustion engines.

In order to incorporate a BMW feel to the scooter, various design elements from Motorrad models have been used. The “split face” with integrated LED headlamp, a tipped front spoiler, predominantly vertical body lines and simple colour scheme are the most noticeable BMW design elements in play. To emphasize sportiness and agility, a superbike-style windscreen, the aluminium look of the bash plates and the air intake adopted from the BMW GS have been added.
