BMW X5 M50i receives a powerful 630 HP from Dähler Tuning

It is no surprise that BMW X5 M50i remains the best in the line offered by BMW. It cleverly integrates superb design and remarkable performance in an everyday car, making the model a total high-end luxury SUV. As a result, BMW X5 M50i always tops the sales from BMW’s SUV lineup. In fact, it has already attracted attention from several tuning shops from around the world, creating several projects with it.

The latest tuning BMW X5 M50i received was from Dähler, a tuning company from Switzerland. They incorporated the luxury SUV with an immense power boost, generating a whopping 630 hp and 840 Nm of torque from the standard 530 hp. Diving into the details, the M50i SUV comes with an aftermarket exhaust system with four tailpipes (110 mm diameter), an apparent similarity to the X5 M. It also features 23-inch alloy wheels matched with a sport spring set, giving a firmer road grip while its CDC1 Forged wheels are wrapped in 305 mm wide tires.

The Swiss tuner also accepts requests like the instalment of a valve flap control that produces richer sound and volume at the push of a button. However, this system compromises the SUV’s good standing with the emission authorities, as it loses the standard GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filters).

Dähler’s “Level 1” tuning raises the powerhouse performance of 100 hp and 90 Nm from the series model. With its modified electronics, the V8 TwinTurbo can now reach a speed of 270 km/h. If those features still feel lacking, better brace yourselves as the “Level 2” tuning has already begun, and it is as promising as it can be.
