Manhart MH3 800 Touring Takes Power to the Extreme

Station wagons may be rare, but the Manhart MH3 800 Touring proves they can still pack a serious punch. With its jaw-dropping 855 horsepower, this BMW M3 Touring is more than just a practical car; it’s a speed demon disguised as a family haulier.

Manhart gave the standard M3 Touring’s S58 engine a comprehensive overhaul to achieve such monstrous performance. Forged pistons and connecting rods bolster the bottom end, while twin turbochargers deliver increased boost. A carbon intake and upgraded intercooler ensure the engine breathes and stays cool under pressure, while a bespoke exhaust system helps unleash its full potential. The result is a staggering 352-horsepower jump from the stock 503 horsepower, making this wagon a true powerhouse.

Handling all that power requires precision upgrades. The MH3 800 rides on adjustable H&R springs for improved road manners and stability, while staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels complete the look. The stock carbon brakes remain unchanged, as they can manage the speeds this car can reach. However, the eight-speed automatic transmission has been fortified to handle the engine’s immense 804 pound-feet of torque.

On the exterior, Manhart’s signature body kit elevates the M3 Touring’s sporty aesthetic. New grille inserts, a front spoiler, side rocker panels, and a carbon rear diffuser give the wagon a sharper and more aggressive stance. A pair of carbon spoilers, one on the roof and another below the rear glass complete the aerodynamic upgrades. These touches ensure the MH3 800 Touring looks as fast as it drives.

This high-performance wagon remains a rare sight, available only in select markets. If you’re eager to see the MH3 800 Touring in person, it will be showcased at the Essen Motor Show through December 8. It’s a testament to Manhart’s ability to transform an already impressive car into a mind-bending machine.
