Re: Need help for Alternator. did they test the battery with car running? voltage should be higher than usual 12v, up to 14v when alternator is charging. best to do a thorough check before changing alternator in case its not the culprit.

Re: Need help for head light just to clarify Terence, what i quoted u is $230/set, ie a pair $50 is the labour charge by workshop anyway, from the description of your problem, its more of a case of your insulation having cracked and shorting. its best that you get that insulated, eg doing heat...

Re: Bulb symbol most likely rear right brake bulb....hehe just use the left lever and scroll to "system check" press "BC" and hold it there. there should be a CCID error code.....just google for the BMW CCID error code to find the exact problem

Re: Headlight Problem can, no prob. hope u didn't add some HID kit for your foglights what model are u driving? cos some models like E60 or E65 we can't check for u cos need to take down bumper

Re: Headlight Problem u should get a workshop to separate the wires to prevent them from touching n shorting and see if the lights still work. if it still works, u can consider doing heat sleeves for the wires or tape em up so that u have a working headlight set again. we do not do the heat...
