Re: cat converter fault code; decat or change or trial & error how about your mass airflow sensor? sometimes loss power due to dirt on the sensor, clean it up before going for expensive repair. hope it helps

Re: Decat??? from what I've know, when you decat those petrol car, it produce toxic fume which are hazardous compare to diesel. As for diesel, decat can increase the turbo lifespan as it spool more quicker.
