Re: CD/Mulitmedia can't play DVD I don't think that will work, I believe you still need to overide the factory settings somehow to playback any type of video on the F10.

Re: Mute Button on Steering Wheel Simple, just press the mode button on your steering wheel...will go to AUX and you get instant silent. Press again and it goes back to the radio.

Re: CD/Mulitmedia can't play DVD I have a 2011 F10 523i, from what I know it cannot play movies. Kelvin at Soundwerkz fitted a module to overide the system so as to play DVD movies. I also fitted a DVD changer in the boot so I could keep a few DVD's in there for the kids.

Bros, For those who own the 523i F10, just wanted to check what your RPM is at idle/stop. Mine seems to be at around 600-650 rpm. As mentioned in many forums, the F10 has a problem moving off at low speeds. There is alot of hesitation and jerking. I'm not sure what the problem is, so...

Re: Worth buying new F10 523 from PI? Could be possible but need to check with the PI you are buying from. Also I don't think the insurance from 3rd party costs alot but not sure. PML adoption fee for PI cars is $30k.

Re: Worth buying new F10 523 from PI? If the newer batch of 523i from PI have everything that PML cars have and more and if they are selling at 30k difference them it will definitely worth considering a PI car. The 3 litre version you are referring to is the 528i, definitely a worthwhile...
