In Car Camera for F10 It's using the socket to connect to a battery pack, then to the cam. Wires are all hidden. External battery pack able to power the cam unpowered for 24hrs.

In Car Camera for F10 Don't think they will be tempering with any dashboard wires but they will need to connect to a power source. So that may be a problem. I am using an external power source for it.
