Re: Automatic Driving Lights That is something i find too. If I leave the switch at "A" (auto), it will be that way when you nxt turn on engine. But it does to stay at "recycle" at all. This was not the case in my previous BM, even though also had iDrive then.

Re: Which PML Facility to service? All the centres are the same as far as servicing procedures are concerned as it is governed by BMW HQ. what makes a difference is the CSA (Customer Service Advisor) ... whether you can click with him or not. Only way is to try out one or two and see how...

Re: Newbie! Welcome! BMWs not that sophisticated ... yet. I think the sensors you are referring to are the tyre monitor that lights up when there's a loss of pressure in one or more tyres. The other sensor is the brake pad thickness. So long as change to a compatible size rims...

Re: Noisy 520i engine The squeak sounds like a creak coming from the window pane or the under/side of the seat? If so, that's the door seals. I've had several BMs over the decade & more and every single one had door seals that squeaked, even when the car is only a couple of months old...

Re: Active steering fails My previous E60 was 1st batch to come in with AFS. Never had a single problem with it. Sometimes its just your luck with the actual car assigned to you from a shipment. as for temp loan car, can try make some noise and see what happens. Maybe they'll lend you...

Re: New 520i Tyres & rims are the only things holding you to the ground. So, IMHO best to spend a bit more and get more reputatable ones. That said, some reputable manufacturers do have factories in Thailand or Taiwan and have good QC system in place ... but be aware. Just like almost...

Re: recomendation to do BMW audio system Did a simple upgrade to m E60 LCI as could not stand the horrible stock any more. Changed the front & rear to 4" Morel 2-ways, and the underseat to 6.5" Rainbow X-plain, driven by a 5 ch Balupunkt - no cutting anything at all ... not high-end, but...

Re: Hi all Thanks guy for all the welcome. only came across this forum accidentally a few months ago ... so, still freshie one quirk i found in BMs --- door seals always creak. But i got a good relationship with a PML CSA since 1st car and resolved each time with anti-friciton tape...
