From what i read online,those additives/cleaners work for the area after the valves;inside the cyclinder chamber only. To clean the area above,some use water to inject into the manifold,walnut blasting,removing the intake manifold and scrubbing it like a bbq pit (with brake cleaner etc) and...

@Guardian, here are some pics of my ride that were recently cleaned using walnut blasting..its from an Audi Q7. From what i know spirited driving does not remove the carbon build up This one is before blasting,car was at 73k kms This one is after

Thanks for that. Guess i was wrong diesel uses Direct injection. Heres a video of what i was refering to...

From what i recently found out...carbon build up stems from Direct Injection engines on the intake valves,since DI is common on diesel engines...i believe they will also be subjected to carbon build up...thats why i recently learnt.

I doubt u will be able to feel much but could be subjective.Does yr vehicle vibrate a lot?Never bring back to PML?

Dear F10 Fan no,i painted them blue to match my rear blue m sport calipers. FYI for brembo GT BBK,they come from the factory in 4 colours,red,yellow black and sliver. Others to my knowledge are painted.
