    Re: E90 Stalling with No Fault Codes Thrown I suggest doing all the above recommended checks and if all fails. replace the valvetronic motor together with the eccentric cam sensor. sometimes no fault doesn't mean its is not faulty. on a side note. has the DME been flash tuned before?

    Re: Rattling sound from soft top go to PML or Munich and buy a can of rubber care spray. open up ur soft top half way. spray liberally and rub the rubber seals that contacts/ touches the body, windows etc. close it back and u will have peace. repeat if noise comes back.

    Re: Jerking, Hesitation, OR acceleration delay during hard throttling I suspect ur gearbox ratio monitoring is faulty since u say upshift from 5 to 6 gear. . there are a few sensors in the gearbox mechatronic that monitors gearbox ratio. good news is it doesn't have to cost 5 to 6 k. of $$$.

    Re: Changing ATF for E90?? The ATF oil pan is actually gearbox model specific. E.G 6hp19j aka 6 speed ZF gearbox. atf +oil pan replacement will cost around 500++ from earlier posts. if its a 8 speed gearbox from the F series it will cost more as the oil and pan is more costly.

    Re: Engine coolant water topup Sometimes the water pump is not propelling the coolant fast enuf. there is a impeller inside which we cannot see. the water pump should be replaced at around every 80k. I have seen quite a few fail wout leaks. is ur car a 320? if the fan sounds loud maybe...

    Re: F10 m5 using 5w-30 or 10w-60 ? no offence but if the workshop manager recommends 10-60 for the new M5 engine. he is wrong. Oil use should always stick to manufacturer specs. not workshop manager recommendations. 5-30 is the rating to go.
