Re: Fluttering sound from aircon when steering wheel turn left
i went to motoaire and found that the aircond drip pipes were blocked and a disgusting jelly like ooze has collected in the blower section. so the blower motor would hit the water when you break or turn hard resulting in the...
Re: "High drain battery" message after install camera
The fuses under the dashboard are designed to be 'on' constantly. The fuses in the boot are synced with the ignition (no power if ignition is off). Your vendor is probably not a bmw specialist and couldn't give a rat's ass....
Re: Need help for head light
Yeah, I agree with Calvin & sszone. The external jackets of the wires are probably crumbling - exposing the inner wires and causing a short. The very same thing happened to me. After being told by the workshops that the only solution was to buy a new pair of...
Re: BMW servicing workshops
Had mine done at KARCOOL at Eunos Ave 4.
Am very pleased with the service.
Was cheaper than more well known workshops (I wont mention names) and will definitely go back.

Re: 520i E60 any problem?
Avoid the E60 520 4cylinder. The aircond compressor will up lorry every 2 years. It's a well known problem. Also, its waaay underpowered. The 523 is better with adequate power and the engine is silky smooth.

Re: BMW E60 Headlights
Exactly the same thing happened to me. The light bulbs are probably still ok - like mine. You need to insulate the exposed wires that are causing the short. If you cannot get the exposed wires, you would need to remove the headlight and look (behind) inside the...

Re: guys.. hv u seen this??
Electrically no issues at all. I've also installed remote boot release, footwell lights & extra power sockets in boot & below glove box. All is well so far. Just remember to remove the battery terminal before u start.
No strange behavior either.
Re: guys.. hv u seen this??
for higher spec cars with dynamic drive, the steering becomes heavier but since mine does not have this feature, its more or less same as DS but I find the shifts smoother as it shifts at a lower rpm than DS.
Re: guys.. hv u seen this??
I diy.
switch = 50 cents, wires = $1.60, pins i canibalised from old pc parts, solder iron and some solder.
