I recently encounter this problem of unstable idling when starting car. The rpm will go up and down for a few times on cranking. It's especially agressive when the engine is cold. Though it seems softer when the engine is still hot. Anyone knows what wrong:helpp!:

Re: e90 pre-FL 320i - Few problems Yes, the internal circulation button is on. The smell still comes thru, not as bad as it's off though. Remember my dad's E200 had the same prob, whether the internal circulation button on/off makes no diff. Will monitor a while first than see how.
