Re: coolant low warning DIY is ok. Using the floating stick to gauge water level also correct. But key point is DO IT ONLY WHEN ENGINE IS COOL. Not only is the water level only accurate when it's cool, removing the cap when engine is hot can injure you when the hot steam rushes out. Be careful.

Re: Living Beyond 100 If the above includes the fuel hoses running fuel from the fuel tank at the back to the engine in front, I'd recommend checking and possibly changing them even before 100k. Had this happen to me. Was not funny.

Re: tire fitment and falken RT215 Now that you say this.. I also remember him swearing off these tyres after 1 of them burst quite badly on him on NS highway.. and it was a new tyre if I remember correctly.
