Re: WTB: VF34 Turbocharger. (Ball Bearing)
Jack,
You found this list and you still manage to mix up the turbo you have in your car? Oh I know. Must be because after asking me, you wonder how I know, then you went to the forum I frequent now and found the list, haha..
SL2,
You joining...
Re: WTB: VF34 Turbocharger. (Ball Bearing)
Single scroll VF39 bro.
My suggestion for replacement: VF42, as used on the S204. Twin scroll big turbo with quick spool and good top end, best of both worlds. Easily 400+bhp with tuning and accompanying mods and yet very driveable. Only problem...
Re: Ground Control C/O Kit
Jack, I'm curious to know why KW-2 was on your shortlist given that you are replacing PSS9? Especially after you said that KW-2 for M3 is also using progressive springs.
Re: My car is due for service (Inspection I)
Regarding asking them not to wash your car, I'm not sure what to suggest to you to ensure that they DON'T do it. Last time I had a friend who even printed out A4 size paper with big big font saying don't wash his car and put one each of the paper...
Re: adjust to softer = compromise traction?
Ok I'm confused. I read your earlier post and you seemed to say that in dive and bodyroll, the AMOUNT of weight transfer remains constant (with CG, track width and wheelbase held constant), but just that the RATE of weight transfer is changing...
Re: FS: SMG1 Steering with paddle shift
I remember lah. That time still in old forum mah. People asked you why you never straightaway change to paddleshift M steering then you said cannot make it work mah. See, I remember until today, then help you ask.. then "good heart no good reward"...
Re: FS: SMG1 Steering with paddle shift
May I know why you're selling? I'm not an interested buyer, but I'm asking because I can only think of 2 reasons you might be doing this, and for either reason there'll be people who would have questions to ask you:
(1) swapped to manual
(2) found a...
Re: coolant low warning
DIY is ok. Using the floating stick to gauge water level also correct. But key point is DO IT ONLY WHEN ENGINE IS COOL. Not only is the water level only accurate when it's cool, removing the cap when engine is hot can injure you when the hot steam rushes out. Be careful.
Re: Living Beyond 100
If the above includes the fuel hoses running fuel from the fuel tank at the back to the engine in front, I'd recommend checking and possibly changing them even before 100k. Had this happen to me. Was not funny.
A set of painted body moulding strips in Cosmo Black (colour code 303) for E46 pre-facelift sedan to be given away free. Will need to swap with your unpainted strips. Taker just pay labour (if any) for workshop to swap. They're not in the best condition but have been sanded, primed and painted...
I have a full set of white indicator lights for E46 pre-facelift sedan. Includes front, side and rear. Willing to give away free, but taker must pay workshop for removing from my car and installing onto yours. No swapping of stock amber lights required. Please PM if interested.
Re: tire fitment and falken RT215
