yea if the condition of the engine & gearbox is good, why not? Set aside 3-4k for a COE car for the repair is a fair amount..

sounds like one of the gearbox sensors is giving problem, it doesn't recognize the right time to change gear, find some specialist to check for you.

I would suspect the brake rotors else the brake hose oil intake not smooth. Happens to me when driving in Malaysia, 160km/h braking to 100km/h, same senerio as you, whole car shaking when i step on brake, and braking power reduced by 30%, quite terrifying experience, try to get it solve soon.

looking at a 6 year old, repair wouldn't be too huge of an amount, mainly on wear & tear components (Absorbers, brakepads, Disc Rotors, sparkplugs, ATF Oil change, oil leakage repair etc)

Main issues of E90 is engine oil leakage issue as well as noises from under carriage sounds. Some may even encounter engine carbon issue that makes the car less powerful. Proper repairs by reliable workshop shall solve the problem, not a bad ride overall.

Please take note of certain practice by PML. I've heard many clients saying that they recommend Engine oil change at 18km instead of 10k, ATF oil change Life-long / 100,000km. This is not very healthy for the Gearbox & Engine in term of maintenance wise.
