Re: If you are poor, just too bad... The best way is still to reduce the car population by at least 10-20%. ERP can only solve congestion on certain roads at certain timings. Reducing car population can resolve this problem more effectively. Downside is that the cost of car will balloon...

Re: If you are poor, just too bad... In my view, I think the Government has allowed too many people to own cars in the past 10 years, and this is way more than what our infrastucture can afford. This has in turn led to congestions today. I agree with Wobbles that $5 ERP is somewhat useless...
