hi, can it fit M235i? my car is stock, will i require the EWG option?

Bought for my BMW N55 aftermarket downpipe; however it could not fit due to the length as my downpipe is much bigger. Made in stainless steel, with 3 variable flow rate inserts. Thread M18x1.5. It should be suitable for N20 downpipes and many other makes as well. Opened but never used...
