Thanks papbear. I have reached the conclusion that if I want to own a BMW:
1. Don't buy the first batch (applies to Merc as well actually)
2. Change it within the first 5 years, or better, first 3 years to avoid disappointment

Haha I'd love to have a Z4 but in case my other car breaks down I would like to have the option of having a car that can sit 4.
M4 is yummy, but no place in SG to feel the kick... already the 2L GTi engine has no where to enjoy, everywhere 90 max..... sigh

I am considering a BMW for a while now but am really concerned about the reliability. So far have driven Merc and VW amongst Japanese Brand’s but prefer Germans. So far no issues with regard to reliability.
