Any senior know if the new 220i equipped with the same B46 engine as 230i? Heard that 230i was just a chipped up 220i by BMW. Not sure if we could do the chip up ourselves and save the $30k price difference?

I would most probably go for PI route as well as PML won't even wanna entertain me when I asked for a manual transmission, like it was a crime to drive a manual bimmer in SG!
