Re: Question on ethical??? housing agent's practice Hope the one you signed was "OFFER to purchase" and not " OPTION to purchase". the first one is "subject to contract" , the second one is the contract. 1. Sign "offer to purchase" with 1% chq - standard 3 days for owner to accept/reject...- acidburn
