2000 320i noisy heater/aircon interior fan

[Fifty Cent]

When I turn on the climate control in my car I hear this stupid sounding sound. Sounds as if it is coming from the fan that brings air in the car.

It stops as soon as I turn off the fan.


Any info on the above?
