2007 320i

Dear All,

Should I go for the present 320i (launched 2005) or wait for the new 2007 3 series?

I find the colour palette of the current model boring. Was offered the following:

Exterior Interior
Montego Blue-Metallic Beige
Montego Blue-Metallic Lemon
Sapphire Black Beige
Sapphire Black Grey
Sparkling Graphite Beige
Titanium Silver Beige


Can anyone offer advise on lemon interior? I think this it not easy to maintain.

U referring to 320Si? That's a limited production run model, doubt it will ever made it here (Sg).

i sure hope you're right mate!

anything is possible with pml and bmw asia.... the day i collected my car they started shipping the 320 with cruise controls and xenons.... now if they bring in a 170bhp 320.... who's gonna pay for 2.5 litre roadtax for a car that does 170bhp???

maybe that's why the 523 is doing 190bhp now???

keep your eyes on the new c-class... Mercedes-Benz - The new C-Class. might give us a clue on what pml/bmw asia have up their sleeves...

Mercedes-Benz UK - Passenger Cars - New C-Class Saloon - Technical Data with 184hp, the current 320 is at 150 hp with more expansive roadtax... if they don't close the gap in terms of the engine specs how will they sell?

Maybe the 318 will be back to close the gap. Not forgetting there will be C180 too.

i was referring to closing the gap in terms of engine power...e90 318 is a detuned 2.0 litre engine? Most people will consider roadtax cost ... So the c180 and c200 will sell better if pml doesnt bring in the 320 with 170hp...

320 4 cyclinder is the lowest for now.

in terms of pricing

c180 goes head on with 320
c200 vs 323.

so for horse power will be
c180 163hp vs 320 170hp
c200 184hp vs 323 194hp (new)

Priced at S$129,000 c/w Bi-Xenon Head Lights, Head Lights Washers System, Black Line Rear Lights, Cruise Control & Through Loading System.

Hopefully to collect the car by the next week...

Priced at S$129,000 c/w Bi-Xenon Head Lights, Head Lights Washers System, Black Line Rear Lights, Cruise Control & Through Loading System.

Hopefully to collect the car by the next week...

is this the 170hp 320? nevertheless, very good pricing consider all the goodies they threw in.

you might be right about it being position against the new C200...

LHD and RHD spec are a bit diff. in North america, i think their 323 is our 325. their 328 = our 330. close but not exactly.

No, it is still the 150 hp...

I went for it due to the additional items, the choice of colour and year of manufactured, 2007 edition... probably it will fetch a higher resale value...

The SE mentioned that it is still at $42k region... did not went up despite more accessories throw in... i dun really understand why... cant comprehence...

you may be right. the direct injection 320i with 170bhp has already happened, just a matter of IF and WHEN?

and the E90 318i already happened long time ago, in the UK at least, detuned 2l block with 120ish bhp.

Wow! Was informed that ONLY the Montego Blue with lemon or beige Highline edition is available. 320i were selling very well over the weekend. My indecision left me with no colour options.

Moreover, was also told by SE that PML may not bring in 320i (which is PML's best selling) in the coming months. Wonder why? Now, want to reserve but no confirm date of availability.

170bhp DI already fitted on o/s 320i coupe & 120i ...for their sedans it's still the 150bhp version
