2013 F30 iDrive rebooting problems

Hi,

Any of you experiencing intermittent rebooting of your iDrive ? Have had this issue for a few months now and the car has been back with PML thrice (last time replaced the entire entertainment unit) and still not resolved. This morning received an update that the issue might be too many songs on the iPhone (I have 3000+). Its still WTF?!?, but if any of you have similar problems you might want to check the number of songs and/or contacts you have. Apparently large amount of data being constantly transmitted (via bluetooth) 'could be' the issue. Shall update if the problem is resolved.

Yes. Also same company that makes the iSymphony and uPapa, I believe....

Happened once n even the radio also bo sound. Bt think due 2 bluetooth connection. Bt after i restart engine no more issue.

alternative solution to this prob - to buy pirate music cd from JB, and play on the cd player!! save ur iphone batt !!

Y don't just download/burn into e idrive via CD/thumb drive?
CIC idrive will only syc with phone contact whereas new version (NBT) will syc with the rest. Deactivate this function exclude phone contact maybe can help? IMHO ~~~

Bt mine i didnt use my hp 2 listen 2 songs leh. Juz make phone cal also hang. Whole idrive hang n blackout then fm also bo sound n lite. Then suddenly batman face cum out
