Now I feel my 318is is more fun to drive around with the 4.44 diff esp. with the Schrick cams. Downside is that its noiser since RPM is higher. I also mis-shift from 1st to 2nd gear resulting in the grinding sound.... Ouch man....

actually, all the e36 316 318 and 318iS auto uses the 4.44, the manual uses 3.45.
