A Detailed Black Beemer

This Beemer belongs to KW who does his own detailing once a while but given his hectic schedule, we were tasked to take care of his beloved. The car was given a thorough wash to remove dirt and to prevent instilling swirl during the machine polishing process. After that, the surfaces were clayed to remove above surface contaminants. Next, the car was blow dry and taped off for the next process.

The car has moderate swirls and water etched marks and was machine polish with the following steps and products

Menzerna Power GLoss/cutting pad on a rotary
Menzerna Intensive Polish/polishing pad on a DA
Menzerna Final Polish/polishing pad on a DA

And sealed with

Meguiar's NXT wax applied by hand
Meguiar #16

Taped areas before machine polishing

M16 came out in 1951 and Meguiar has stopped production. Dun think you can get this anymore, i manage to grab a few cans in US.

M-16 Professional Paste Wax – This is a traditional paste wax for people who enjoy the aesthetics of applying a paste wax by hand on a leisurely Saturday afternoon. Introduced in 1951 and virtually unchanged since then, this is the first automotive wax Meguiar's introduced to their Mirror Glaze line. #16 is formulated to provide long lasting durable protection under extreme environmental conditions under hot temperatures. #16 dries fast, dries clear, and will not turn white on pebble textured black plastic trim.
