Hi experienced owners, I am looking to get my first BMW and I have decided to start with a 316i.
I have narrowed it down to an 2013 316i which I am planning to convert it to a normal plate. The mileage is ridiculously low at 13k km. I have seen the car condition and it seems ok. I have yet to test out the ride but I would like to get some advices before going for a test drive.
I've realised that E90 and F30 have different engine as one is twin cam turbo.
The questions are:
1) Should I top up another $10k for a F30 or save the money and get the E90 instead?
2) Is the difference in performance between these two cars drastic enough?
3) The dealer is charging for $188 to send it to STA for inspection, he said it's optional and I can request to send to my workshop too. I have no idea which workshop should I trust for BMW. Any recommendation?
Sorry for the long list of questions as there's too much "complaints" about continental cars although I know some came from people who did not even own a BMW before
Thank you.
