Accent Strips on new Alpine White E90. To do or not to do ?

Hi Bros,

I will be getting a Alpine White 320i (M sport version) and thinking of installing the Accent Strips on the sides as shown in the below pics. PML quoted $350 for the job.

Should I do it or not ? It is easy to remove if I am sick of the look next time?

Any input will be much appreciated.

$350? Get it done outside. Perhaps 80% less.

if do, definitely do it outside and not pml
did SE smoke you if install the stripes outside will void warranty?

I have had this on my E90 before. It's actually a 3M sticker that sticks when you apply water on it...so, it's quite a difficult job to get it installed properly (e.g. perfectly lined up and no bubbles, etc.) The sticker itself is quite thin...so quite fragile.

PML charges around $100 to do the install. I did the install at Johnson at Ubi, and I think Johnson charged me around $30-50...can't remember exactly the amount.

If I have to do it all over again, I will do it at PML. If it's not installed properly, you will be able to complain and PML will be able to reinstall a new sticker for you. If you do it outside, if they screw up...then you are screwed. For the additional $50-70 of labour at PML...it's worth it IMHO...

all stickers look suitable on alphine white cars..
