just installed ACS exhaust on my 520...not as loud as i would expect..in fact not much difference from the stock exhaust except it is bassier... other than removing the resonator..is there any way to make it louder?

Re: ACS exhaust is super silent :(

Now i know what you have. :)
I think removing the resonator is the way...but ACS exhaust might drone alot.

Or sell your ACS and get Eisenmann........:)

Re: ACS exhaust is super silent :(

hey pal where to get eisenmann? btw u know where 2 remove resonator thx help needed urgently

Re: ACS exhaust is super silent :(

u installed only acs tip or whole muffler? im sure mine is totally different from stock

Re: ACS exhaust is super silent :(

Any exhaust shop can help chop the resonator out. It doesn't increase the bass of the exhaust note, just makes it raspier.

Re: ACS exhaust is super silent :(

changed the whole muffler..yeah it has a nice sound..but i hope it can be louder...

Thats so true.:D Tanzy, did you get the same result with your Remus??

Re: ACS exhaust is super silent :(

kenji,

Remus exhaust systems go all the way to the cat so it gets rid of the resonator anyway. ACS exhaust, although made by Remus, is only the muffler box and a short length of pipe.
I changed the mid pipes to stainless steel of a smaller diameter than stock and that really gave me the high pitch rasp.
