And if it cant open and close, how much does the repair cost?

Is it hard to repair?

My previous E85 had a dam bad coolant leak. Bloody container made of plastic, probably got eroded or something. Check the roof too. See if it opens and closes smoothly.

If it's jerky means hydraulic gonna KO soon.

Check your transmission too. Before i sold it off, i was experiencing some wear and tear on the gearbox. It gives me the engine malfunction check light sometimes during start up.

Hi cupholder,

how much would a replacement of a Z4 gearbox be?

Cheers

is better to get a newer unit otherwise too much to worry if you get a older unit unless it is proven that certain wear and tear parts are being serviced or changed, the last thing you wanna do is to buy a unit and keep going to a workshop...............

cheers

sorry to hijack thread here - my roof finally KO after a while - PML quote me around $3k w/o labour - qn: do they allow me to order parts from eng soon and ask them to just do the servicing work?

I think 2277 does the repair for the top? I'm sure it costs cheaper then in PML..
Saw like 2 E85's servicing their top there.
