There is two service provider for Hydrogen cleaning in local.
1. Decarbonize provide mobile service , $80 for 1 car or less for two above.
2. Klear Karbon same service in seranggon shop, much much higher but still got supporter.

Hydrogen does have chemical reaction with carbon into hydrocarbon. Not fully snake oil but if you really want fully clear, still need many time treatments, not one time make your car feel as brand new. But the price is worth or not it depends on individual.
For me best decarbon treatment will be lut your car at NSHighway , die die fully press pedal into max .

Bro,

There are 2 more:
Motorvac & Liquid Moly

Personally tried klear karbon for both my German & Jap ride can really feel the rides more responsive after clearing & feel light on the pedals to move off.

Tried with my friends with decarbonize sg.
Feel responsive and save a bit on FC .
Worth it or not ? We'll got a group buy n a good discount n at our door step service.
Consider worth n value for money.

Will the chemical kill the engine gasket?

I can only share that after heavy lut lut, throttle also more responsive e next day under normal casual drive.

Re: Any one tried the hydro cleaning of carbon for engine?

Magnets clamped to fuel line also increase throttle response and can rev higher... ooops OT :runaway:

Re: Any one tried the hydro cleaning of carbon for engine?

There is only a few ways to clean up the engine properly ....... This I have my doubts ....

Below URL is a good write up by Team-BHP with regard to engine decarbonisation.

LONG ARTICLE & GOOD READ: All about Engine Decarbonisation | Team-BHP

Below is the final conclusion found of page-4 of article (note e underlined statement).

To conclude, chemically decarbonising an engine isn't the cure-all that manufacturers of such equipment and chemicals tout them to be. There are pros and cons to carrying out the procedure, and I personally do not recommend decarbonisation, especially for an engine that is running in a healthy state. That said, the procedure can be considered as a last-ditch measure after all other options have been explored, in situations where engine performance remains poor, and you are keen to try something a little less 'invasive' before opening up the engine.

In the end, it's your car, and it's your choice.

What is more important IMHO, is the below little note by Team-BHP.

That decarbonising can cause a slight loss of power or increased oil consumption is well-documented for older engines. This is usually attributed to the breaking down of the oil seal between piston edge and cylinder bore, by the removal of the ring of carbon that had formed on the piston edge. However, in time a new oil-seal may form and the compression would therefore improve.

New generation engines do not form so much carbon during combustion. Removing whatever little has formed to compensate for cylinder bore wear, MAY leave you with leaky pistons after decarbonising.

Flushing can cause oil seals in the lower half of the engine (such as big-end bearing seal) to leak - decarbonising can do the same to the fuel pump.

U may want to read the article I posted... Certainly looks like more bad(s) than good(s) for new generation engines.

I tried Liqui moly jet cleaner day before CNY.
I feel engine slightly slightly slightly quieter, smoother a little on cold start
It doesn't like other driver feedback like , "wow my cs3 feel as evo! ! ! " no way
