i'm in a good mood. So i'll summarise for you. With the Pulstar plugs, the average gas-mileage went down slightly over the course of the test. This bears out similar reports from other group tests of these spark plugs published elsewhere on the web.
I rated the plugs as 2 stars because they're good quality plugs and make fine replacements for anything you might have in your engine right now. But they simply do not live up to the claims made in the advertising.
Try Volker Spec2s @ R2D
Pretty good shit
phil say one
Nope I didn't try them as they are too expensive. Seriously, I don't see the need for such plugs.
These are the plugs I have tried.
OWS RS-Spec (basically same as Volker Spec2)
Brisk LGS Premium
Bosch IR Fusion
NGK Iridium IX
Denso Iridium
OEM Platinum plugs
Cheap copper plugs
My butt dyno tells me there is literally no difference between the premium plugs. All show little improvement over the cheap copper plugs.
The WORST plugs are actually the Brisk LGS Premium. Did feel power improvement over copper ones but it doesn't last at all. 20-30K and it start to misfire. And its very expensive....
I think the OWS/Volker plugs should last the longest as they use iridium for both center and ground electrode but at the price... I seriously don't think its worth it. ....
NGK/Denso iridium plugs are value for money. They last long as cost around $50-60 for a set of 4.
Platinum ones are cheap and long lasting as well. May be the best value for money and no difference compared to iridium ones.
Tks Bro Futron and Niteblu. I think the " Advanced / Hi Tech " plugs are Feel Good products ,with minimum/ negligible improvement . Currently using NGK Irridium -- cannot feel the improvement over the stock plugs. Thought the Pulse plug may have a breakthrough. HahHaHa.
