A five-star hotel banquet manager was offered US$5,000 (S$6,211) by some Arab diplomats to spend the night with them. According to Chinese paper Lianhe Wanbao, the woman was assigned to receive the group of diplomats at the hotel on 23 June. While she was serving the group, some of the Arab diplomats started to look at her and commented on her looks. The next day, she received an SMS from one of the diplomat's secretary. It was an offer for her to sleep with the diplomat for US$5,000 and US$3,000 for her colleague to do the same. The banquet manager's boyfriend shared the incident with netizens on HardWareZone, asking them for advice. However, most netizens advised the couple to report the incident to the police.
