+1. So true!dimebag;1079252 said:All the dealerships are always promoting the base models. That's what seem to attract sg-reans i guess. They buy just for the badge and don't care about the drive.

They win most other makes in their price range, simply because they share the same BMW platform as the higher models. I happen to know a lot of 116i and 316i drivers who love their cars, the way it drives, the handling, the sexiness, the BMW roundrel, the tremendous potential in their rides, etc..... So long as they do not slap on an ///M3 or AMGGG badge and try to call the car an M3 or an S350AMG, I think it is ok...
P.S. Hearsay a physically bone stock 116i (down to the stock filter) beat the heck out of a Stage 1 Audi A4 a few nights ago. Congrats...!!! Anyone interested to hear the story, PM me for more details..............

Despite driving an equivalent N18, no way i gonna buy 316. I thought my previous JDM was low that's why i see 316 rear axle.seanskye;1079272 said:I wish to offer an alternative view - "base" models like the 116i and 316i have similar chassis, drivetrain, common parts, etc. as some of the models above them. U mean 320,328 cannot see rear axle?davidtch;1080116 said:Despite driving an equivalent N18, no way i gonna buy 316. I thought my previous JDM was low that's why i see 316 rear axle.
But
in my current ride, i still see the same rear axle from 316. That's very sloppy for a BMW.
328 definitely cannot see. 320 can see exhaust.ccc;1080119 said:U mean 320,328 cannot see rear axle?
Just add on m perf kits la.
Btw,current 316 pick up still marginally better than previous gen 320. Haha
