ur car shld clear front if u lowered... no problem la. BMW tends to have more clearance in the front unless u put lower lip. BUgis no problem.. ya which company of urs got such a GIANT hump.. ?? rem must die die lower if not ur ride still look normal with the chio rims.. cos too many pokes... poison opinion ONLY..

The Performance brakes... sigh... felt like kanna cheated. Well, for the good part of it, it really does looks good and of course, good braking power. When I was considering to buy it at the POJ promo, the part sales guy was telling me it will be 6-pot in front with the pheonix yellow caliper and 2-pot at the back with smaller pheonix yellow caliper. When I collect my ride, i was like "errr"... something is missing ! The back brakes doesn't come with the Pheonix Yellow caliper ! Then they show me the parts details, and it stated that for 125i the back is normal performance brakes, but its still better than the original stock, only the 135i will come with the 2-pot pheonix yellow caliper. They said that 125i do not need such high stopping power. :huhhuh: :huhhuh:

I was eagerly waiting for you to show show the brakes.. now the PML give u this kind of "short changes".. hmmmm...:angry::angry:

His bodykit is less than 1 cigarette box away from the flr. There are 2 stupid humps at my office, I big n broad, I small but high. I don't see any scratches everytime we admire his Bavarian Monster together.

Well like I said, the Leica AG M8 belongs to my buddy - he's into Rangefinders while I am just a pure lazy shooter.

Actually the watermarks on the individual photos indicate the camera used liao, if you examine closely. But since you asked ... with the exception of pictures #9, and #19 to #22 which were shot using the M8 on a CZ 50mm F2; the rest were shot on my 5DMkII with the 50mm f1.2L.

Ok I've resolved the wheel balancer fiasco already. Had the workshop take my Fraulein's stilettos out and rebalanced them again. Turns out, the tyres were not positioned properly when they were fixed onto the rims - the heavier portion of the tyre was aligned with the heavier portion of the rim. It's no excuse for whoever the imbecile was who did it not to have raised the alert when he stuck 20 pieces of lead onto one rim - that's like throwing pebbles into the heels of my Bavarian girl's and letting her wear them! Anyway the issue is now resolved.

I can't take a picture of that gigantic hump at my office to show you guys lah! Let's just say that it's really big and broad. And high. Besides, the first slope leading to the basement is steep and has another hump I have to contend with. Sigh.

Sam: Mud flaps also part of the bodywork leh ... not so nice to scrap them as well.

Coincidentally, I've got an offer for a used set of JIC Cross (5 mths old) earlier today. How?!?

Not at all. These are just terms which would confound motorsport enthusiasts but are plainspeak to photographers. I think the photogs will be equally blur when they come in and read about coilovers, 30mm, headers and whatnot in car forums hahahah.

Considering a 2nd hand JIC Cross set lor ...

JIC Cross got good review from a few buddies not from this forum. But 2nd hand one got any guarantee hv no prob or not. Any way to test?

How far from your fender do you intend to shift?

Well without revealing too much, let's just say that the set offered to me is less than half a year old, mileage less than 6k and a very reasonable price not exceeding $3k. Coz seller is giving me first option - it'll probably be advertised here should I decide not to get them from him.

Yes I have considered the fact that these are used though I have reason to believe that they were well taken care of. I'm not sure if there's any way to sample them before I commit? Take a ride in seller's setup?

I'm still iffy because I'm not even sure if the lowered ride (though adjustable) that is low enough to fill the wheel arches and give it that aggressive look my Bella used to have can also clear the humps and steeps I have to encounter. Besides, how harsh is the ride on the JIC on the different dampner settings? I must admit that I find my current M-Sport Suspension a little bouncy, then again my arse has been on a pretty firm Sachs Sports Suspension setup my Bella used to have on her legs for the past 6 years, so it is having some trouble adjusting to a softer ride. But the squeaks started to sound and the ride became harder as she matured into a MILF just before I broke up with her 2 weeks back ...

So, factors to consider:

a) ride - how 'bouncy' is the JIC Cross on the 'softest' setting? Or the middle setting?

b) height - to drop by 1.5 fingers i.e. 25-30mm depending on how fat one's fingers are? Or?

c) which leads me to the other question - what will the lowered ride be able to clear? What will it not be able to clear?

d) and even if the front clears swee swee, the sideskirts will kena because I angle the hump dead slow? Like that is as good as LPPL what - front clear side cannot clear.

Answers on a postcard, please. :smack:
