Hi all,

I got my 523i High line for about a month n still dunno how the assisted parking works..can anybody kind enuff to tell me???

I though would be a simple process...

Drive next to a lot;
Press voice control button on steering wheel;
Say: Park the car.
Car: does a scan and respond "lot too narrow"
Driver: Try
Car: Will try. Please confirm disclaimer clause

My problem with this parking assistant is I don't know how to activate it consistently and speedily. Few times I tried, it will fail to follow up with instructions on a few occasions, and I will be sitting there waiting for the next steps on the I drive.

I have my F10 for a year.... still have yet to use it.... try once or twice... couldn't rememeber the sequence. By then, a car came behind me already so had to manual park. Big white elephant.....

So far I only successfully activated the system twice.

The rest of the times, the sensor can't detect the space. Maybe I need to clean the sensor.....haha!

My female friend was very disappointed with her assisted parking system. There were no car on the left nor right of the slot she wanted to park. She had to drive away to look for other slots..

Sensors not acclimatized for Singapore lots ......

Thanks all!!!

I guess pml must look into the issue of the feasibility of the such system in the car before start selling it. Coz am sure there is a diff in price for such spec n we are paying only to know we can't use it.
